AMRF has initiated major research in the fields of Bio-medical Sciences and Biotechnology in 1999 and has developed laboratory facilities for Immunology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, Proteomics, Stem Cell Biology and Bioinformatics for conducting cutting-edge basic and translational ophthalmic research. It is a recognized centre for Ph.D. programmes, in Biomedical Sciences by Madurai Kamaraj University, as well by Alagappa University for Ph.D. in Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. |
