We would like to inform you that LAICO is hosting "Eye Care Collaborative for Improving Hospital Performance Learning Session 1"scheduled from September 29 - 30, 2012. 17 participants from 6 Hospitals are participating in this collaboration. We have enclosed the participants list for your kind perusal.
The Collaboration
Eye care collaborative brings number of hospitals together to facilitate improvement in their processes. Collaborative consists of three workshop, the first and the launch of this programme is held at LAICO.
This consultation is being hosted by LAICO and organized by ACCESS Health International. ACCESS Health International is a not for profit organization with working in collaboration with Indian school of Business, Hyderabad. One of the initiatives of ACCESS Health is to improve processes among healthcare providers to advance the quality of services. ACCESS Health has been supported by one of the leading health care process improvement organization, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI)
Six hospitals are going to participate in this workshop. There will three persons in a team from each hospital. The list of hospitals are below:
- Aravind Eye Hospital, Salem
- Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital, Delhi
- Globe eye foundation, Bangalore
- Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore
- Raj Eye Hospital, Gorakhpur
- Sankar Foundation, Vizag
Expected outcomes of the workshop:
Participating hospitals will be able to pilot the Model for Improvement developed by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI)in the Indian context based on the experiences of the Aravind Eye care Model
